i hit the croc with arrow and push to ebonscale and drop's 590gs after 10 kills or something..

The spawn location is at the bottom of a waterfall in Ebonscale Reach. If you port to Shadowmine Shrine in Everfall, you can drop down on top of the gator. Or you can port Ebonscale Reach Village and trek over from there.
