Got it after 24 hours of mind-numbing RNG...given that Crassus spawns within about 5 minutes of killing him, I can only state: I hate that I play this game and decided to farm such a mediocre amulet.

It's not fake. It's just extremally low drop rate. After over 50 tries, I got around 9 named items, still no amulet.
